Friends of MSJMC and the Antigua & Barbuda Renal Society Donates a Dialysis Machine to the Hospital

The Friends of MSJMC and the Antigua & Barbuda Renal Society has donated a dialysis machine to the MSJMC Dialysis Unit . The official handover made by the Presidents of both organizations, Dwayna Derrick (Friends of MSJMC) and Constance Moe (A&B Renal Society) took place yesterday at the hospital.

The equipment, worth over twenty-five thousand US dollars, now brings to twelve (12) the number of dialysis machines at the facility.

“I think I can speak for all of us when I say that both of these organizations are truly friends of MSJMC and some of our biggest supporters and donors. This donation is very generous and saying thank you just doesn’t seem enough”, said Salma Crump, Head of Marketing & Communications at MSJMC.

The MSJMC Dialysis Unit is headed by Nurse Manager, Patricia Thomas, who manages a unit of twelve (12); together they currently serve some fifty-six (56) patients, operating three (3) shifts everyday excluding Sundays.
