Daughters and sons of women diagnosed with Breast Cancer have to deal with the anxieties and emotional issues as well as the . Daughters especially, might become fearful of their chances of having the disease themselves and worry about their mortality. The good news is ladies, Y D H become Your Mother! This is the very basis of Breast Friends ongoing campaign for early detection and Prevention education by getting and sharing all available information on treatments and therapies, and how to cope with the disease
Breast Friends gives you another chance to make a real difference in the lives of those diagnosed with cancer. Join the fight against Breast Cancer by walking, running or sponsoring a participant to help raise funds for early detection and prevention education, advocacy efforts and patient services. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness within the community and to support and remember those who have been touched by the disease. It is a great way to celebrate your mother, daughter, sister, Aunt, wife, friend who have survived the disease or remember those who have lost the battle Remember, M D W, Come walk with us and Join the battle against Breast Cancer!
The route is as follows: From the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, using the southern road leading onto old Parham road turn left onto Old Parham Road and go P V via the main road, straight to the corner at Amaryllis Hotel. Turn left onto Sir George Walter Highway (formerly Airport Road) until we get to “ G “. There we turn left onto “ “ W H (formerly Factory Road) which leads back to the Stadium. Prizes will be given for various categories. Breakfast will be on sale after the walk for an affordable price of $10.00

On May 7, 2011, Breast Friends, Women in Touch, the only Breast Cancer Support and
Awareness Group is holding a Fun Run/Walk to raise funds for the benefit of the organization in
its quest to educate the community about prevention and early detection of breast cancer. The
walk will start at 5:30 am from the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and back. Registration begins on
