The Consulate of Antigua and Barbuda in Toronto announces the launch of its website www.antiguabarbudaconsulate.ca on the day that the country celebrates twenty-nine years of independence. The site is a multi-functional one that aims to provide users with a range of information on Antigua and Barbuda. It is geared towards a variety of interests, including economic, business and investment, general, or for individuals who require the services of the Consulate for visa and passport application or processing of other documentation.
“We will use the website as a tool to help us exercise our functions more effectively and efficiently in terms of promoting the interests of Antigua and Barbuda in Canada,” said Consul General Janil Greenaway. “It is a great resource and a great means of reaching anyone in Canada or anywhere in the world who require the services of the Consulate or who are interested in Antigua and Barbuda for business and investment purposes, travel and vacation, or just generally. Our goal is to make relevant information easily accessible to nationals in Canada, visitors, investors, or anyone who has an interest in Antigua and Barbuda.”
The launch of the site was set to coincide with the country’s independence celebrations. The Consulate will hold an official Service of Thanksgiving to commemorate Antigua and Barbuda’s twenty-ninth year of Independence on Sunday, 7th November at the Asbury and West United Church located at 3180 Bathurst Street in Toronto beginning at 4 p.m.
